“My brother, an infantry officer in the Army’s 1st Cavalry Division, was deployed to Iraq. At 20 I was made the executor of my brother's will.”

Eric Frieman previously served as Director of Finance for Elements Behavioral Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of substance abuse treatment and behavioral health services with 18 residential facilities, 29 outpatient locations, and approximately 2,000 employees across the United States. Eric’s brother, Jonathan (Army Veteran), served as an Infantry Officer in the Army’s 1st Cavalry Division where he was deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, and Egypt. Eric graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Economics and Psychology and was a member for the Vanderbilt University Football Team where he was awarded to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

"One of the most trying times of my life is when my brother, an Infantry Officer in the Army’s 1st Cavalry Division, was deployed to Iraq. The gravity of the situation didn’t hit me until, at 20 years old, I was made the executor of my brother’s will. Then and there I made a commitment to help fellow military and first responder families – a mission VFR shares."
