PROGRAMS & SERVICES

PROGRAMS & SERVICES

WHAT TO EXPECT

VFR provides individual and group therapy focusing on drug and alcohol abuse. Our programs and services are specific to service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. We know what you’ve been through, and our programming reflects the trauma you’ve endured.

A free assessment is the first step.

Come in, and we’ll explore your outpatient treatment needs and appropriate level of care together. AT VFR, vets rehab is guided by veterans like yourselves. We ARE you. And VFR, like all Strive Health centers, is distinguished by its range of treatment options, based on your specific needs.

Next, a personal treatment plan is developed.

Everyone is different, so recovery is different for everyone. The VFR vets rehab plan offers vets support which is aware of your own situation and history: factors like severity, current progress in treatment, your relapse prevention needs, your personal preferences, needs, and values. You are integrally part of this planning.

Your participation in VFR treatment programs is unequivocally confidential.

We also help you evaluate your payment options including in-network as well as out-of-network coverage.

We believe payment for treatment should never be an obstacle for recovery from the disease of addiction.

VFR OFFERS THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS

Structured Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOP is the heart and soul of the VFR approach to vets healthcare and vets rehab treatment. The IOP is key to substance use (SUD), PTSD and other behavioral health care for vets. It is an intensive program, led by your peers in the veteran and active military community, who are top experts in the field.

Your IOP experience supports you with structured individual and group counseling sessions. Using the best evidence-based approaches, you participate in education, support, structure and therapy. These sessions help you:

  • Address critical issues in early sobriety
  • Learn relapse prevention, coping and drug refusal skills
  • Explore personal issues
  • Learn how to achieve sustained abstinence and live a healthy, self-directed life

Outpatient Program (OP)

Individual and group therapy for:

  • Family and vocational issues
  • Relapse triggers
  • Coping skills

Relapse Prevention Program (RPP)

You CAN learn to present relapse,a critical step in vets rehab. Learn the skills you need to confront the risk of relapse. Work as an outpatient and later with clinicians, mentors, and alumni, many of whom are veterans and first responders, to stay sober.

Recovery Support/Community Reintegration

Outside the clinic and into the future, your recovery is our commitment to you. Our Recovery Support offers specific programs for community reintegration and your empowerment as a free and healthy individual. Real rehab for vets only succeeds with reintegration into your community.

  • VFR Family Resilience Project
    • A complementary treatment support program for families and loved ones in care.
  • Partnerships with service organizations, non-profits, and top education institutions to help our clients reintegrate into their communities.
  • Ongoing peer support and mentoring, as part of the VFR Healthcare‘s Legacy Service Alumni Program
